The opening lines of San Diego’s latest revival of David Henry Hwang’s play “”FOB”” begin with a man’s mean-spirited lecture on all them“”clumsy, stupid, greasy and horny. He hates about FOBs, talking about those who are “”Fresh Off the Boat, ”” calling”” Once the lights brighten, the identification regarding the presenter becomes apparent. The presenter is a male that is asian.
In reality, this self-loathing among Asian-American men is typical enough in my situation to publish a commentary onto it. Issued, not totally all males that are asian-American on their own, but i might endeavor to state that many have at one part of their everyday lives.
